Commonly, your first contact with the HPGRB’s team of anesthesiologists and resuscitators will happen during a planning visit or a stay for surgery. The anesthesia consultation is a crucial step that allows us to evaluate your clinical condition and to find out with you the most suitable anesthesia procedure for your surgery. It is a moment of privileged information.

Do not hesitate to discuss any problems you may have regarding the progress and performance of your anesthesia.

Eventually, if your condition requires it, you can be admitted to the Resuscitation Unit. This is a highly specialized service where you will be under the permanent supervision and control of a nurse and a doctor dedicated to this activity and this 24 hours a day.

The main techniques of substitution are practiced there. During this stay, your family has the opportunity to meet the doctor in charge of your problem. This interview will be done in association with the nurse who specifically looks after you and the doctor in charge.
Do not hesitate to ask for an appointment if you cannot be present during the visiting hours.
