L’allaitement maternel exclusif pendant les six premiers mois suivant la naissance est une pratique sure et bénéfique pour le nourrisson jusqu’à l’âge adulte et pour la maman.
NB: L’allaitement maternel exclusif signifie que le nourrisson ne consomme rien d’autre que du lait maternel.
Protégez-vous et protégez les autres.
Si la COVID-19 se propage dans votre communauté, protégez-vous en prenant quelques précautions simples, comme maintenir une distance physique d’au moins un mètre (1m) avec autrui, porter un masque, bien ventiler les pièces, éviter les rassemblements, vous laver les mains, et tousser dans votre coude replié ou un mouchoir. Suivez les recommandations locales là où vous vivez et travaillez. Faites tout cela! Considérez le port du masque comme normal lorsque vous êtes avec d’autres personnes.
Voici, en quelques points essentiels, comment porter convenablement un masque:
Lavez-vous les mains avant de mettre votre masque ainsi après l’avoir enlevé. Assurez-vous également qu’il couvre convenablement à la fois votre nez, votre bouche et votre menton tout en évitant de le toucher unitilement une fois que vous l’avez porté.
Portez un masque en tissu sauf si vous faites partie d’un groupe des personnes à risque. Cela est particulièrement important lorsque vous ne pouvez pas garder vos distances avec les autres, en particulier dans les lieux clos et mal ventilés où se trouvent de nombreuses personnes.
Portez un masque médical si:
Vous avez plus de 60 ans, vous êtes atteint d’une autre maladie telle que diabète sucré, hypertension artérielle, … Vous présentez des signes respiratoires ou vous vous occupez d’un membre de votre famille malade de COVID19.
Le masque doit etre individuel et ne peut en aucun cas etre échangé. Le masque en tissu doit etre lavé à l’eau chaude et au savon puis séché au soleil avant d’être réutilisé.
Le masque médical ou chirurgical peut-être porté pendant une journée dans la mesure possible et sera élimé selon les procédures de gestion des déchets.

BUKAVU-COVID19: NATIONAL MINISTER OF HEALTH PAYS TRIBUTE TO THE HEALTH CARE STAFF OF THE PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL.
Minister Eteni LONGONDO congratulated and strongly encouraged the HPGRB’s medical staff for the remarkable commitment of this public health institution in the response to COVID-19!
Upon his arrival in Bukavu, the capital of South Kivu Province, on Saturday 20 June 2020, the National Minister of Health, His Excellency Eteni LONGONDO, visited several facilities for the care of COVID-19 patients. Accompanied by His Excellency Théo NGWABIDJE KASI, Provincial Governor, as well as members of the COVID-19 pandemic response team in the province, the Minister of Health began his visits by the BWINDI isolation centre where he congratulated and encouraged the health care staff for all the efforts and sacrifices made in this fight. After the Bwindi stopover, the National Minister of Health made a stopover at the Provincial General Reference Hospital of Bukavu (HPGRB) where he was welcomed by the Acting Medical Director Dr Ghislain MAHESHE, surrounded by the entire management staff and medical corps.
On the spot, Minister Eteni LONGONDO congratulated and strongly encouraged the medical staff for the remarkable commitment of this public health establishment in the fight against COVID-19 in South Kivu Province, which continues to do its utmost with the available means. The Minister took this opportunity to recall the decision taken by the Head of State, H.E. Félix Antoine TSHISEKEDI TSHILOMBO, who wants the funds allocated to the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the independence of the DRCongo, on 30 June, to be allocated instead to the wage of the health personnel involved in the response against Covid-19. The National Minister of Health wished to recall the support of the Head of State to the entire population of South Kivu facing this terrible pandemic.
